Saudi Arabia welcomes the world with its new tourist eVisa, available online for visitors from 49 countries. The one-year, multiple-entry visa allows stays of up to 90 days for tourism and Umrah (outside Hajj season). Discover Saudi hospitality, rich heritage, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes—from the mountains of Abha to the Red Sea shores and the vast Empty Quarter.
The Saudi Tourist Visa and Umrah eVisa are both used for visiting Saudi Arabia, but they have key differences :
The Tourist eVisa
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia introduced the tourist eVisa in 2019 as part of its efforts to welcome more international visitors. The eVisa is currently available to citizens of the European Union, the United Kingdom, North America, and several other countries, with the list of eligible nations continuing to expand.
The application process is simple and efficient, completed entirely online, with approvals often issued in less than an hour. Notably, the tourist eVisa allows travelers to perform Umrah without the need for agents or packaged tours, making it an ideal option for independent or “Do-It-Yourself” Umrah planners. Applicants are required to indicate the purpose of their visit—such as Umrah—during the application process on the official portal.

Umrah Visa
Umrah visas are issued to citizens of countries not eligible for tourist visas, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India. These visas must be obtained through authorized agents and are typically bundled with Umrah packages.
